Our Therapists

  • John Gillespie

I work online and in person in Hackney, London. I believe in making therapy accessible to people who may not think it’s for you. I work with those dealing with early life trauma, loneliness, shame, anxiety/depression, gender/sexuality, grief and questions of life purpose. I practice a trauma-informed gestalt therapy, which means I place emphasis on responding to you as a fellow human being.

    How I manage fees
I invite contributions of between £80 and £130 depending on what you can afford to pay. I also have a number of lower fee places. I invite us to negotiate a fee that works for us both in a first session. I generally charge for the first session, though sometimes I will waive the charge if you decide not to continue.

  • Phil Norbury

I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with the gestalt approach. I am particularly interested in the embodied and relational aspects of gestalt, supporting clients to get in touch with their emotions and sensations and to expand their range of possibilities. I also bring in techniques from Somatic Experiencing which can be very helpful for trauma work, building resilience and resetting the nervous system.

I am a creative therapist and enjoy venturing into the unknown with my clients. I believe that people are their own best experts and I see my role as supporting clients to discover themselves rather than pushing them towards some predefined notion of health or success.

  • Kay Young

I live in the North East of Scotland, near Findhorn, on the Moray Coast. I am deeply passionate about finding ways to deepen our connection with self, others, and the natural world. To find ways of being more aware, awake, alive. To find ways to live with more ease, grace and love.

I work in a relational, embodied, and creative way; bringing into awareness your experience of being in the world (including with me), and the choices you have, to accept your way of being or experiment with making changes. I believe change is more possible through the presence and support of another, including within the therapeutic relationship; and through relationship, there is scope for healing, improved well-being, and increased vitality. My practice is gestalt oriented and trauma informed.

I have a deep interest in nature-based therapy practice; and invite clients who are interested in being outdoors for therapy sessions to be in touch.

    How I manage fees
Fees are discussed at our first session; and are typically £70 (50 mins), and up to £100 a session. I am always open to exploring the scope for a reduced fee.

    How I manage fees

My average rates are around 85 euros for 50-minute sessions.

The first session is paid. After one or perhaps several sessions, as we gauge our shared desire for this therapeutic work together, if the question of the set fee is sensitive, we explore how to build something that works for both of us.

    Philip Braham

I am an integrative BACP registered Counsellor who has been in private practice since 2020. I draw upon various theories to build a bespoke relationship with each client. Theories I draw upon include attachment and development, transactional analysis, and Gestalt, as well as aspects of CBT, all underpinned by an understanding of neuroscience and the felt experience.

I work with individuals seeking help with anxiety and depression, all relational and identity issues, trauma, dependency, grief and loss, life changing events, as well as those who are seeking greater clarity and purpose.

I am experienced working with people of an array of ethnicities, backgrounds, and socio-economic groups, and I welcome people who identify as neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, or who are adoptees.

I see people usually on a long to medium term basis but also offer 8 session therapy.

  • Capucine Renard

I am a Gestalt therapist, EMDR-H practitioner, and Yoga teacher (with numerous certificates), based in Sucy-en-Brie in the Paris region (France). I work with adults, children, adolescents, and couples, primarily in-person but also online.

As a former performing artist, living in an eco-place, I am deeply attuned to life in all its forms. My goal is to guide you towards a more fluid and harmonious existence, integrating the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions, in connection with your environment. Drawing from a complex life journey, I am aware of both the significant opportunities and challenges I have faced. With the maturity of a companion, mother, and grandmother, I accompany a wide range of situations including depression, existential and spiritual questions, burnout, eco-anxiety, relationship difficulties, loneliness, trauma, professional development, couples' challenges, and exile.

    How I manage fees

My fee is typically €70 for a 50-minute session. However, given my extensive experience in the social field (APSOS, Psys Nomades), I regularly adjust my fee to enable individuals facing social difficulties to access therapy (currently, this applies to four of my clients). If you are able to pay €80 or €90 per session and are sensitive to this social dimension, you would enable me to adjust my fee for others in need.

Typically, after an initial session, we decide together on an initial "contract" of 3 or 5 weekly sessions. This allows us to deepen our understanding of your situation, what brings you to therapy, and our therapeutic relationship. Afterward, we adjust the frequency of sessions based on your evolving needs, situation, and means.

  • Cam Field

I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Supervisor, specialising in neurodivergence, trauma and somatic/bodywork. I also use photography in therapy, both using existing photos and the process of creating new ones. I work with adults one to one, and can offer group facilitation. I work online and in person in Birmingham, UK.

I love Gestalt, the combination of the relational phenomenological approach with the understanding of the importance of our field or environment makes it a beautiful approach to finding ways of making the changes we need to in our lives. I have a particular interest in anti-oppressive practice and the connections we can find in our differences.

I trained at Manchester Gestalt Centre, and the Center for Somatic Studies in New York. I am a member of GPTI (Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute) and an accredited member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

    How I manage fees

My fee is £60 per session and I sometimes have concessionary places available at a range of prices. My practice is currently full with a waiting list. I can occasionally offer one off supervision sessions, or a one off group facilitation but I do not have a regular space available at the moment.

  • Anne Augustine, PhD (she/her)

Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you as a whole person. I am a gestalt psychotherapist in advanced training, working online (UK and EU) and in person in Glasgow. I feel a particular affinity with: people who have experienced relational / developmental trauma, intersectional and liminal identities, feeling like an outsider, inclusive menopause and ageing, socio-ecological justice and climate distress, longing to feel met in our darkest places, and (re)discovering meaning and purpose. I have been in private practice since the beginning of 2023, and also work part time in higher education and as an organisational consultant and coach.

I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN), and the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA).

    How I manage fees

  • Anastasiia Kovtun

I studied art for about thirteen years, followed by a long journey in philosophy, psychology and psychotherapy. I draw a lot of inspiration from Jungian, existential, humanistic psychology and process oriented therapy. I studied working with different types of trauma from the Gestalt method. I like to work with metaphors and bodily processes.

The topics closest to my heart are self-worth, relationships, codependency, the search for meaning, the search for authenticity and one's own path, crises, trauma, and post-traumatic growth.
The most valuable thing I received from psychology is the joy of meeting and being honest with myself. If you have breathed into life fully and honestly, at least once, there will be no turning back for you.
